Owner Connie Karlowicz, a.k.a. Top Dog, leads a team of ten Pack members.
I have 20 years of dog experience and I work closely with the Dogtropolis Manager, Madeline Werner, along with the rest of The Pack, to maintain a safe and healthy environment for your best friend! As my clients know, I am on-site at the Dogtropolis dog daycare facility every day, working with the staff; each member of my staff works several shifts throughout a week, so we know you and your dog well and you will know the Dogtropolis staff well, too.

Connie’s love of dogs began when she was young girl, then having her first two dogs Wally & Dex in 2003 that she started Dogtropolis for while working long hours in the publishing field. Connie’s background before starting Dogtropolis was in the publishing, marketing, printing fields. The Dogtropolis logo and graphics you see come from her collaboration with the same graphic designer of 25 years to make them come to life! Connie currently has three dogs, Stan, Mark and Joe, who come to Dogtropolis daily, and assist her in day-to-day operations of Dogtropolis. In addition to her love of dogs, Connie enjoys traveling to Arizona to hike in Sedona, with a love of photography as well, she also spends her time taking photos not only of the dogs, but also of desert landscapes in Arizona and here locally, of Cleveland sunrises and sunsets.

Maddie comes from a family of dog lovers, and with a background in Biology and Health Sciences she now devotes her life and career to taking care of other families’ dogs. As Top Dog Connie’s right hand, she oversees all day-to-day business operations, maintains the office and facility, and manages all the staff. Clients like to joke she is here so often she must live at DogT! Quality assurance is her top priority and she is known for clearly communicating with clients about their dogs and always giving them peace of mind. An avid camper, she enjoys traveling in Ohio and other states for long hiking trips with her rescue dog, Carlos.
STAFF MENTOR, KYLE ANDERSON AKA PACK GUIDE
Kyle has been with DogT for nearly four years and goes by many names, but the most common nickname is Pack Guide. As Staff Mentor, he is in charge of training all new staff and overseeing all pack members, both on the playroom floor and in the kennel area. He assists in day-to-day operations and maintains the integrity and cleanliness of the entire facility. He always impresses clients with his loving care of their dogs as well as his amazing feats of strength, always with a smile on his face. His four-legged partner, Gracie, also helps welcome incoming staff and new doggy friends.
CLIENT AFICIONADO, MK BUKOWSKI AKA HOOMAN GUIDE
MK has had dogs almost her whole life and for the past several years has focused on adopting rescued seniors: Brisco, Oscar (pictured) and now, Vincent Price. She previously worked in print and digital publishing for many years and was a volunteer dog walker at Friendship APL in Lorain County. She greets and assists clients for daycare, coordinates overnight boarding arrangements, and conducts orientation for new dogs and their parents. She also works both on the playroom floor and on marketing projects for Top Dog Connie.
