1. What are the requirements for enrolling my dog in doggy daycare and overnight boarding?

Your dog should be a minimum of 12 weeks old

Spayed/neutered if over 6 months old

Your dog must be non-aggressive with other dogs or humans.

Up-to-date on all vaccines:

Bordetella: (Kennel Cough Vaccine) once yearly, we strongly recommend every 6 months

Distemper/Parvo

Rabies

LEPTO

Fecal: a negative fecal test once yearly

Heartworm: a negative HW test once yearly for dogs over 1 year old

CIV: (Canine Influenza Vaccine) we strongly recommend this vaccine

Flea and Heartworm Preventative year-round

We require vaccine records in advance of your first day visit. You or your Vet Clinic may have your dog's records faxed or emailed to us @ 216-383-2929 or dogtropolisdaycare@gmail.com  

If your dog meets all of the above requirements for enrollment, please download and fill out our Client Forms. Please bring the Client Forms with you on your first scheduled visit day.

2. Do I need to schedule an appointment for my first Daycare and/or Overnight Boarding visit?

Yes, we only schedule/meet new clients on an appointment basis, since we like to meet every new client/dog in person on the first day. We set appointment times for 7:00-8:00am Monday through Thursday, so that we may go over your Client Forms, meet you/your dog and introduce your dog into the playgroup early. It’s much easier on your dog to introduce them into the playgroup when there are fewer dogs to greet him/her early in the morning.

3. What is the charge for Doggy Daycare and for Overnight Boarding?

Daycare is $40 for a Full Day (up to 12 hours) and Overnight Boarding is an additional $20 per day.

4. Once my dog is enrolled into Doggy Daycare and accepted, do I need to make an appointment each time for Daycare and Overnight Boarding?

We do not require an appointment for Daycare. We do require appointments for Overnight Boarding so that we have the appropriate amount of staff on hand supervising the dogs.

5. What if I have specific questions regarding Doggy Daycare or Overnight Boarding that are not covered in the Client Forms ?
